A well deserved tribute
Do you remember the welcome and reassuring sight of a ‘Bobbie on the beat’? These men and women played an important part in our lives, keeping a protective eye over the community and giving us a welcome sense of reassurance.
Police Constable Barry Danvers was the last dedicated PC to serve the village of Trowse in the 1960’s, and he did so with distinction. In recognition of his service a street on our stunning development, Millgate Meadow, in Trowse, has been named after him. His widow, Jean Danvers, handed over the keys to the beautiful new home of the street’s first residents where we are sure they will love living.
