Orchard Gardens &
Orchard Close, Hemsby

Hemsby and it's surrounding area

Hemsby Village

is only about a mile from a stunning sweeping coastline of dunes and sandy beaches.

You can walk to the neighbouring village of Winterton and probably spot a few seals enroute! Gentle rolling countryside surround Hemsby Village and other small villages. Very close by is the famous National Park area of The Broads, where you will find miles of breathtakingly beautiful waterways, a haven for wildlife and of course, Broads (lakes). Norwich, the region’s vibrant capital offers; work, commerce, shopping, arts and culture and is only 20 miles away as does Great Yarmouth which is 8 miles further along the coast. Hemsby provides an escape for those who no longer want to live in a city or big town but need to be within reach to access their amenities but also want to spend time in Norfolk’s countryside where there is so much to do
and explore.

The village itself has useful amenities such as a primary school, a GP surgery, a dental practice, a church, a pub and a few shops including a convenience store and post office. There is also Waters Lane Playing Field with a children's playground, Sports and Social club and pavilion and is home to Hemsby FC.
