The Wallis (plots
178, 181, 194, 197, 204 and 207) and Fleming (plots 189, 190, 191,
192 and 199) are all being offered as part of our local housing
needs scheme. In summary:-
The seller
is to notify South Norfolk District Council of both their intention
to sell their home and their suggested asking price. This must be
done a minimum of eight weeks before marketing their home for sale.
During the above eight week period, the home can only be offered
to prospective buyers introduced by South Norfolk District Council.
If South Norfolk District Council is unsuccessful in introducing
a buyer within the above (first) eight week period, the home can
then be marketed to people living in the parish of Poringland or
the parishes of Framingham Earl, Alpington, Yelverton, Howe, Stoke
Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund for a further period of eight
weeks.
If a buyer is not found in the above (second) eight week period,
the home can be offered for sale to people living in the administrative
area of South Norfolk District Council for a further period of four
weeks.
Finally, if a purchaser is still not found in the above (third)
period, twenty weeks will have passed overall and the home can be
offered for sale generally.
The suggested asking price at any time (now and forever) must never
be more than 85% of the home's unrestricted market value.
At anytime during the marketing of the property, South Norfolk District
Council can introduce a buyer and priority will be given to them.
The property must be used as the buyer's sole or principle dwelling.
