Our development
is situated in Hemsby Village, just off Waters Lane, overlooking
the sports fields and playground used by the Village Hall and Sports
Clubs. This is a most attractive and older part of Hemsby. 
Hemsby is a historical village situated just under 7 miles north of Great Yarmouth. It is a well known seaside resort with a wonderful sandy beach and has been popular with generations of holidaymakers. It has a comprehensive range of amenities for everyday needs including; a post office, petrol station and garage, various food and provision stores and a choice of pubs and restaurants to frequent. It also has an unusual thatched community building known as the Barn Room, a medical centre, dentist, pharmacy, first school, bus routes and several places to worship.
On
the other side of the coast road (B1159) and less than a mile away
is the beautiful
sandy beach
and much livelier seaside centre of Hemsby with the holiday parks,
amusements, seasonal goods and snack food shops.
There is plenty to explore and enjoy close by to Hemsby - several rivers and broads with associated leisure activities, miles of sandy coastline, open countryside and picturesque villages.
Great
Yarmouth
is the nearest main town, truly one of the UK's greatest and most
popular holiday destinations for millions of visitors each year.
It is host to many major stores and companies, offering shopping
facilities and employment.
The historical city of Norwich is just over 20 miles away and remains the main commercial, cultural, retail, enterainment and transport link for the county if not the region. Trains run regularly from here to Great Yarmouth, London, Cambridge and the rest of the country. Norwich also has an expanding international airport with domestic, European and (indirectly) intercontinental flights.
